In 2011, contracted by Fadi Debbas, Power Catch, Inc. installed the indoor lighting system. The installment was very inexpensive and has since then paid for itself. We qualified for Dominion’s Lighting Rewards Program and received a substantial rebate. The monthly electric usage has also dropped, therefore saving more money.

The energy saving lights installed through Fadi Debbas have been a great small investment. No doubt have they saved us money. There has been a huge reduction in our monthly power bills, which means high energy savings. The company was also able to become part of the Dominion Energy Conservation Program, in which we receive a yearly rebate. The lights are brighter and maintenance on them is nonexistent.

On August 8, 2011, new lighting was installed in Aldo’s Ristorante. Immediately, staff members praised the visible and remarkable difference. It has provided us with a cleaner and clearer lighting at a less expensive cost. this lighting better assists all of our kitchen staff to enhanced environment for food preparation. We noticed vast difference between before and after installation that we decided to also change the lighting at our office location.

I wanted to express my thanks for the new lighting at our Little Creek location. I knew that you would not oversell your product, but I was truly surprised by how well this project turned out. Our fixtures now put our more light and use only 40% of the energy that was previously required. Guy West of IGW Electric did a great job on the installation. He and his crew were prompt, courteous and efficient. I am a very satisfied customer and I look forward doing a similar installation at our Hampton Boulevard location in the near future.

I would like to recommend the professional services of ABC Consulting, Inc. and Power Catch, Inc. owned by Fadi E. Debbas. Mr. Debbas and his associate, Toby Wagner, proposed upgrading the fluorescent lighting in our public accounting firm office.
Although I was skeptical at first, I agreed to have them install one of the retro fit kits in our conference room at no charge. There was a remarkable difference between the new lighting in our conference room and the old existing lighting throughout our offices. I was very pleased with the new lighting they installed throughout out offices. Additionally, as accountant, we were impressed with the 60% energy savings we would recoup within two years after installation. In the accounting profession, not only is it important we have good lighting for detail work, but it was important the installation work be performed to minimize distractions, since time is money.
Both Mr. Debbas and Mr. Wagner were willing to accommodate our schedules and even came in on weekends to minimize distractions to our firm associates. Everything they promised us regarding price, quality and timeliness was performed to our satisfaction. There were not surprises that were encountered, which is very unusual in construction related work. Every time they said the work would be performed, they met their commitment and were most professional in all our dealings with them. In addition to the immediate benefits of increased lighting output and cost savings, we look forward to the tax reduction of the energy credits we will be applying for.
We will certainly use ABC Consulting, Inc. and Fadi Debbas? services again if the need arises. Their professional, efficient engineering skills and attention to detail are something we, as accountants, certainly admire. We trust their judgment and the workmanship they represent. I am pleased to write this letter of support for KVAR? energy saving capacitors. You approached me in March of last year from KVAR? East, Inc. about installing KVAR? in my 142,000 square foot wholesale beverage warehouse in Chesapeake. Even after seeing the compelling demonstration, I was skeptical that this product could deliver the 10% – 15% savings that you advertised. When you assured me that you would refund all of my money if the product did not perform, I decided to try it. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I took the chance.
I started with five KVAR? boxes, one on the conveyor panel, two on the keg coolers, one on the forklift battery chargers panel, and one on the office heat and AC panel. In September of last year, I added another powered conveyor panel and called you to install a sixth box. Our electricity use has steadily increased over the last five years. Since we installed KVAR? our bills have actually decreased for the first time in 41 straight months even as we continue to add equipment. This product is remarkable.
You and your staff checked with me each month as my electricity bills came in to ensure that the installation was delivering the designed savings. You provided me with excellent customer service from start to finish.
As an added bonus, after doing some research on the internet and talking with you, I installed KVAR? at my home and I am saving a consistent 10% to 13% over almost 12 months on my home electric bills as well. I am so enthusiastic about this product.

“Jeff Haydock at Waterline approached me about doing an energy audit on our motors with their KVAR? units. They tested 4 of our blowers that alternate running all day as well as our 4 effluent pumps. In a day or two they had results saying the payback was less than 6 months. Given the relatively small dollars involved compared to VFDs we agreed to have the units installed and in the first month saw an 18% reduction in electricity usage from the same month a year prior. At the rate these units will have paid for themselves in 3 months and we couldn’t be happier.

“My name is Wes Fisher and I am the President of Hidden Acres Nursery. I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude to KVAR? Energy Savings, Inc. and Central Florida KVAR?, Inc. We have installed 3 units since April 4, 2008. The 1st unit was installed on our tissue culture lab. The unit was installed on April 4, 2008 and exactly 15 days into my billing cycle with Glades Electric. The 1st 15 days of my billing cycle we used 285 kilowatts. The next 15 days we used an average of 251 kilowatts per days. That was a 13.3% savings or approximately $130 estimated on the 1st month. On June 24, 2008 I installed the other two units on our offices. The power bill, which the meter was read on June 19, 2008 was $848 and was up 45% from the previous year. My lab bill was up 14% from the previous year, but could have been up 45% from the previous year. My July bill was $595 on my office which represents a 42.5% savings from my June bill. I have 4 other meters that from their June to July billing, with no other special equipment installed, had an 8% increase from June to July bill. Meaning that the office would have had a $848 bill without KVAR? but had a $595 with a KVAR? Energy Controller PU-1200. My estimate is that it saved me $253 on one month. I am so happy I can?t stand it.

“In the letter I recently sent about the KVAR? units I had received some misinformation on readings. After further research the savings that we seen were lower that I had stated in previous letter. The actual savings to the City was a 10.8% reduction power and $678.38 drop in cost; sorry for the misinformation I gave you the first letter. But the City is still pleased with the saving that were seeing and or looking to do the waste water plant as soon as possible.”
